Hans + Desiree // Years ago Hans and I used to meet up regularly at Elly’s Tea & Coffee, him to work on his book and me to work on my fledgling web design agency. Those days are just a memory now, but we caught up last week to revisit old memories and compare notes about the new ones we are planning. Life is an adventure. (at Elly’s Tea & Coffee)

Simon (three years old today) started his career early as a greeter in our @bigimprint office foyer. Happy birthday Simon! (at Big Imprint)

The Advent book (or as it is known by the kids, “the doors book”) is a holiday treat at bedtime.

David sporting spikey hair and practicing his smiles for school picture day.
@anderbethany and I love walking the trail in West Liberty. Our kids love walking *beside* the trail in West Liberty. (at West Liberty Heritage Foundation)

Found a painted rock on the walking trail today. #paintedrocks (at West Liberty Heritage Foundation)

Perfect camping trip. Weather was just right and we really enjoyed that 17 (!!) family members joined us for hot dogs and smores last night.
First time camping at Saulsbury and the tent camping along the river is great. Our goal for next year is to be able to hike to a camping spot in one trip, including bringing in our own firewood. 🏕 (at Saulsbury Bridge Recreation Area)
Walking back from the farm pond:
“Bye bye fun pond.”
“Daddy, you hoep (help) me now, no.”
“Me high up.”
“Now, no.”
“Now me high up, yeah!”

Dave Ferguson exemplifies the idea that good leaders are good simplifiers. Loving the BLESS practices idea.
